Cousins

Brady is Ryan's second cousin. My cousin Shannon's son. They are three and a half months apart and Brady is about twice Ryan's size. They had a blast together during all of the wedding comotion. This is them at the rehersal dinner which was held at BJ's Restaurant.



They were seeing who could be louder I think .





Ryan also got to play with his cousin Delaney. I think she is his favorite. Ever since they met back in June he asks about her constantly. He calls her "la-lane" and they are almost exactly the same size but she's a bit slimmer. She is three months younger than him and is my couin Michelle's daughter. This is them at Grandma's house supposedly eating breakfast.

We decided against it. I guess we'll just go when Ryan is a bit older and maybe during the off-season

Can it be Spring?

The calendar tells us that it's now officially spring. In Utah that usually means about a month more of snow. We've had some pretty weird weather lately. Some days in and of themselves it is sunny, raining, hailing, snowing, and sunny again. However, we know that it is warming up and before we know it we'll have to crank up the Air Conditioner. I'm pretty excited for Summer this year. I'll finally have a break from work and I know it's going to be a LONG one. I plan on taking the kids to the park, organizing things in my home that I haven't touched in months, cleaning my carpets, maybe even doing a garage sale! It should be a good time. I have some pretty big goals for my stay-at-home life this summer but I'd hate to not achieve them so I'll keep them to myself for now. Two Dreams

I’ve always been one to plan. I’d call myself a Type-A personality, and so would everyone that knows me. The good thing is I married a man who’s a lot the same in that respect. We’ve always been really good about planning things out and thinking them through in advance. We had our son named before he was even conceived. So in planning our lives together, we always planned for me to be a stay-at-home mother; to raise our children full-time. I've always had two dreams in my heart. I wanted to be a mother, and I also wanted to be a teacher. I’ve wanted to be a teacher since a very young age, except for that stint where I wanted to be an airline attendant. Then there was 9-11 and being a full-time traveler didn’t exactly match up with my other goal of being a mother. Today is your Birthday! Happy Birthday RyRy. We love you! Today you are two years old. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by, before we know it you'll be 16. From the day you came into our family, you have changed our lives and we don't know how we ever lived without you. Thank you for being the ray of sunshine that lights up my face and life each day. I can't believe how much you've grown this year. You are getting taller and bigger each day, and your hair is finally growing well too. I love your laughter and your fun sense of humor.
