Mary Ellen Gulch drive

Image
Colin bought a Toyota Tacoma last week and we were dying to take it for a drive. We found the Mary Ellen Gulch drive on All Trails and had to go check it out.  We are definitely newbies when it comes to off-roading or over-landing, but we had a great time and it was a beautiful time of year to go for a drive!  The truck did great on all the tough terrain too!

Beekeeping

Ryan is currently working on his insect study merit badge.  It's a pretty involved badge, but one of the requirements is to study a hive of bees.  Luckily for Ryan, I knew just where to go!   Grandpa Shane keeps bees on his property and he explained everything Ryan needed to know about a colony of insects.

Book Club Retreat to Park City

My book club and I went on a retreat to Park City.  We had dinner at a Mexican Restaurant, some elevator shenanigans, fun times in the hot tub, late night chats, and a nice breakfast at the hotel.  It was a great way to recharge and be with some incredible women who are my dear friends!   Thanks, Jen for hosting!

Diamond Fork Camp

We went camping with the McNew clan the first weekend in September.  We had a great time, my mom made amazing food, the kids got dirty, we hiked to some hot springs, the kids fished, and we roasted lots of s'mores around the campfire.
