Here's August.  The rest of our summer fun before heading Back to School!   Aunt Katie spent all summer traveling in Europe.  And she was kind enough to send several post cards and packages! We all loved the geeky package she sent us, something for everyone!  Shakespeare bobble head.  Dr. Who figures We had the pleasure of meeting up with our friends Jon and Julie (and their kids) from Seattle. It had been too long since we saw them last but we sure had a fun night.   My birthday dinner!  Boys at a swimming class.  Passed with flying colors!  Balloons!  Ryan's band camp!  The last week before school Jess and I took the kids to the Fun Center. 

My sweet mom turned 60 on July 25.   We went as a big group to Seven Peaks for the day.  We had a lot of fun in the sun together that day!  

 A friend of mine and I took our boys downtown to see the Church History Museum.  It is beautiful and really well done.  We learned things about Joseph Smith and early LDS Church history that we hadn't known before.  The boys loved seeing the Angel Moroni up-close.  They even got to put on white gloves and touch it.  I loved the stain glassed window and the art displays upstairs.

The Torfin's were probably the closest friends we made in Singapore.  I was so glad that we got to visit with them this summer.  A year seemed like just yesterday when we were together.  We were so bummed Colin couldn't make the meet-up.
