the Clegg Family Annual Reunion


This year our Reunion was in Utah. Evelyn was in charge and we had it in Lehi at the Willows campground. It was a fun time and here are some of the highlights. The above video is one of two from the Diet Coke game that Sheri had us play. Kind of fun.




The guys & Kimmy were playing football once it was cool enough to be out in the open. The rest of the time we were hiding in the shade. HOT!!


Ryan had a blast at the reunion. Whenever mommy says no, just go ask someone else. With 111 relatives in attendance, someone was bound to say yes.

One fun part of the reunion was cooking the potatoes for Saturday night dinner. We had quite the assembly line going. Here it is- somehow ended up in reverse order.

Spode Dish Factory

I went with a few friends on a mommy-field trip to the Spode Dish factory in Malaysia.  We had the best time and it was an experience I won't soon forget.  We met at Becky's in the morning and got our three car caravan ready to go.  We said a prayer, did a cheer and were off at about 9 am.  We crossed the border without any issues (except for toll top-up cards) and hit the road.  In about an hour we arrived at this little side-of-the-road pottery market.  It was typical of a third-world place. True Outlet shopping.  There was a nice aluminum roof and some big fans to keep us cool.  The plates were very dusty from being outside so long but there were so many lovely treasures.  We all had a good time just wandering around searching for new dishes. I was looking for a set of every-day dishes and anything else was a bonus in my mind.  Spode is a European brand that outsources production to Malaysia.  Their retail cost is pretty high...

Fun Run

Ryan's school does a Fun Run instead of a fundraiser.  I think it's great.  The school gets all of the benefit of a fundraiser without having to sell families and friends crap that no one wants anyway.  Also, the kids get to do some great physical activity, and they realize what they're running for.   Our PTA president is amazing and she organized this event so well.  Evan and I went to help for a few hours.  We kept time for the runners and organized the lap counters for each group of runners.  Evan ran with two different groups.  He thought that he was all involved and just kept running and running.  It was so cute.  He ran for about 30 minutes straight and ended up running about 2 miles!  And he's not even in school!  Ryan got to run with his class and they ran for 15 minutes.  Ryan did 15 laps.  I was really proud of both boys!

Easter 2015

We had a lovely Easter this year in Singapore.  We kicked off the festivities on Saturday morning with an egg hunt in the condo.  There was a large group of kids gathered that morning to hunt eggs!   Evan found one in the knot of a tree!  Comparing his loot with the others.  On Sunday we had an Easter service (no General Conference for us until next weekend).  I found the boys some new church clothes for Easter. I didn't do that last year because they were going to be in  Uncle Justin's wedding in June and my mom was buying them outfits.  After church we went to dinner at our friends house.  I sure do love my Singapore friends.  Its's so nice to be able to gather together as friends when family is so far away.  The food was amazing!  The conversation was hilarious and overall a great time!   After ANOTHER egg hunt the kids played some kind of betting game with their candy. ...
