I've decided to post in video form this year. Here's our year in review! 2015 was a fun one! oops. I forgot to give credit for the music. I'll fix that and repost.
Trevor invited a friend from his mission up to our house to cook Indian Food. We made quite the feast. Trevor and Venky were amazing in the kitchen. I had fun playing sous chef. We made: chicken biryani, palak paneer, butter chicken, raita, chapati and kheer. My house smelled like curry for days and it was surprisingly amazing.
Christmas was wonderful this year. We had Colin's parents visiting from Maryland, his sister from China, and his youngest sister and her husband from Hawaii. It's so fun to have so many family members together. I had been preparing for Christmas since Halloween and on Christmas Eve I cae down with a terrible cold. I felt like a zombie all day and wasn't able to get many photos of much of the day. Mother Nature brought us another foot of snow. Trevor and Evan cleared the driveway twice that day. Although I didn't feel like I got to fully enjoy the day, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for all of the blessings and gifts we received. Ryan's favorite present was the drone Uncle Stuart sent and Evan's favorite was his Quixels set from Santa. I'm in love with my new slippers and Colin is enjoying the new basketball shoes I bought him.
Jess, Emry, Jax, Ryan, Evan, Donna, Karen, Bruce, Katie and I all went to see the children sing at the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City. The choir was amazing, their voices are literally like angels. I'm glad we had the chance to attend this year.
We were so excited to be back together (after my time in Singapore) to make candies again this year. I was glad to be able to share the tradition with Katie and Jenessa and Karen. We had a blast and the goodies turned out really yummy! The fun part: deliveries
