Five

Ryan turns five years old today! He's been looking forward to his birthday for a long time. We've been celebrating since Saturday. I thought about doing a party at a "place" of some kind this year but he decided he wanted to do it at home and the theme was Super Heroes. It was a lot of fun and I hope all of the kids enjoyed it as much as Ryan (and Evan) did. Ryan getting ready for his friends to come.

When the guests first arrived, we had them decorate party hats with Super Hero stickers.
Then we put on Spider-Man tattoos.

Just like British Bulldog except you do good guys vs. bad guys.

Treasure hunt.
Searching for clues.

Almost found it.
Still searching.

Treasure is found!
Little party bags with a maraca, a noise maker, a fruit snack, and a kaleidoscope.
Pinata time! Ryan.

The kids were pretty hot from all of the games outside so we decided to do presents before I made them eat their cake outside. Everyone gave him awesome presents which he absolutely loves, and Evan has loved sharing them too.

We decided to let him open the rest of his presents on Sunday evening since Daddy won't be home until bedtime on Monday (his actual birthday).
He's been begging me for a pair of Sketchers Z straps all due to Cartoon Network's clever brainwashing advertising.
He also really wanted a Sheriff Woody due to all of the Toy Story 3 Mania happening this summer. We still haven't seen the movie. Perhaps this week.
Ryan, for reasons unbeknown to me has been dying for a pair of pernokulars. He ended up with two pair!
The famous shoes.
